Trash Bin Cleaning is Just Now Catching On in the United States.
Did you know trash bin cleaning has been a staple service in the UK for thirty years? Probably not, and just like me the idea of having someone clean your trash bins seems odd. So let me take this opportunity to share with you how we learned about this business.
My husband was cruising the internet and stumbled across a video of a bin washing system. He discovered a company providing this unique service. This service has become prevalent in the US and can now be found all over. From California to NC, Florida to Michigan, and many points in between, people are opting for clean trash bins. After many months of research and a great opportunity, we found ourselves in the unique position of having our very own bin cleaning business. Let me share with you a few of the whys.
The pandemic of 2020 with the arrival of Covid 19 introduced a lot of change into our world. Mask wearing, social distancing, quarantining, and an emphasis on increased hand-washing just to name a few. With the hyper-awareness of germs, bacteria and viruses that live in our world, consider what is hanging around your homes.
One of the most neglected items in and around the home is the trash bin. Firstly, most of us do not regularly clean these and if we do it is ineffective and/or not eco-friendly. Let me explain, E. Coli, Salmonella, Staph A., Strep, Influenza and many other disease-causing bugs are living inside and on your trash bin.
EnviroCleaned in Pitt County Cleans Your Trash Bins and Kills Germs!
Firstly, to kill these bugs, you need strong chemical cleaners, or extremely hot water. Our system can sanitize and disinfect a trash bin in less than 2 minutes. Secondly, we know it takes longer than 2 minutes to clean a trash bin with cold water and chemicals because like you, I have performed that nasty chore.
We use 8 gallons of water per min, compared to 15 gallons of water per min coming out of a standard garden hose. Consequently, the hose water is cold water, our water is heated to between 190-200°F, this heated water is effective at killing 99.9% of all the bugs living in your trash bin. Importantly, this is without the use of harmful chemicals.
Once a trash bin is cleaned by a do-it-yourselfer, where does all the dirty water, germs, bacteria, and virus remains end up? You guessed it, right back in your yard, driveways, storm drains and into the creeks and rivers.
We provide an environmentally friendly alternative. Therefore, the dirty water is collected back into our system. There, the water goes through an seventeen-stage filtration process and is recycled. Finally, we save water and the environment in the process by using only biodegradable, eco-friendly products to deodorize your trash bin for a fresh clean smell.
